
The Markopoulo Olympic Shooting Center, 40 km. east of Athens at a small distance from the “Elefterios Venizelos” Airport, occupies a land plot area of 305.616 sq. m. The Centre is comprised of four main buildings, which hosted the sports of shooting competitions of the Olympic Games of 2004 with moving and stationary targets. The venue offers state of the art technical equipment required to host international shooting competitions.
Access:
The venue is accessible via the Attiki Odos ring road Markopoulo exit or via Lavriou Avenue.

The complex consists of four buildings which offer outdoor covered competition areas and indoor covered competition areas with varying seating capacities, a reception area and offices.
Uses:
In addition to the uses provided for during the period of the Olympic Games, pursuant to Article 25 of Law 3342/2005 (Government Gazette Issue No. 131/A/6-6-2005), the following uses are also permitted:
- Cultural events
- Shops selling basic items and products related to the operation of the shooting center
- Restaurants
- Tourist accommodation
