Located only minutes from the centre of Athens, the Faliro Bay Complex, will be developed as part of the greater seafront zone extending from the Peace and Friendship Stadium to the Agios Kosmas Marina.

 The development combines the city’s new convention centre, aquarium, waterfront plazas, marina, and a variety of athletic facilities, and outdoor theatre joined by a broad pedestrian walkway and esplanade.

Located 6 km from the centre of Athens and 24 km from the Athens International Airport, the complex is accessible via major roadways, and is well served by public transportation network.

Reflecting the most ambitious part of the project, the seafront redevelopment includes the creation of a metropolitan ecological park, to be bordered by a new arts and culture centre, housing the new National Library and Athens Opera.

The planning suggests the creation of a thirty five kilometre bicycle and pedestrian walkway, which will unite fragmented beachfront sites stretching from N. Faliro to Ag. Kosmas and Varkiza.
