Agios Kosmas marina, which served as the starting point of the sailing competitions of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, comprises exceptional seaside facilities able to accommodate a broad range of activities. The marina constitutes one of the most ambitious projects completed along the coastal zone of Athens, and is among the area’s most attractive sites for leisure and tourism development.


Access:

The complex is accessible by the coastal Posidonos Avenue via automobile and public transportation.

  • Facilities include offices, multiple-purpose halls, a seaside restaurant, changing areas, and health service rooms etc.

Uses:

In addition to the uses provided for during the period of the Olympic Games, pursuant to Article 24 of Law 3342/2005 (Government Gazette Issue No. 131/A/6-6-2005), the following uses are also permitted:

  • Thirty luxury rooms, of 1.400 sq. m. total surface, supporting the marina

  • Refueling station

  • Canteen, snack bar

  • Boat support and handling premises

  • Outdoor public gathering spaces

  • Outdoor cultural and sports venues

  • Dressing rooms and restrooms

  • Temporary prefabricated constructions for housing exhibitions
