
Located on the western coast of the Peloponnese, in one of the largest cities of Greece, the Patras Stadium is a major regional athletic centre. Offering facilities built to the highest standards, the venue hosted the qualifying football games for the Olympic Games of 2004, and is well-equipped to become a destination for local and international athletes competing at the amateur and professional levels.

The Stadium is located 250 km west of Athens, 3 km from the center of Patras and is accessible via public transportation.

- The renovated stadium offers six new fields for sports were constructed (5 x 5 football fields, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts).
- The auxiliary racetrack was also renovated; it provides warm-up facilities for both athletics and football hosted in the main stadium.
The stadium has a capacity of 20.000 seats.
Uses:
In addition to the uses provided for during the period of the Olympic Games, pursuant to Article 15 of Law 3342/2005 (Government Gazette Issue No. 131/A/6-6-2005), the following uses are also permitted:
- Shops, restaurants
- Cultural events
- Training center
- Hosting exhibitions in temporary prefabricated constructions.
